Drove around town last weekend a snapped a few pictures after temperatures dropped to single digits for several nights. There was ice in the harbor and Tub Mill Brook among many other locations. The cranberry bogs along Achusnet Road were prime for skating and hockey. The Wanderer picked these up and published on page 50 in their January 21st edition (5mb download). Photos are also available at The Wanderer web site as well as mattapoisett.org. Things are looking up though with longer days and spring only eight weeks away. Thanks to the Wanderer for publishing!

Winter of Discontent
