This is a 1.4 Gigapixel image of the inauguration. You can pan, zoom and explore many, many details from Secret Service or FBI guards on the roof, Justice Clarence Thomas sleeping and George Bush and Dick Cheney with scowls on their face. It's amazing the expressions on many peoples faces. The amaging thing that the "camera" was nothing more than a Canon G10 consumer digital camera that was attached to an inexpensive robotic panning system that systematically took several hundred individual 14 megapixel images and stitched them together in a computer application. I'm thinking I might have to have one of these things one day! The site may be slow at times due to the popularity of the image.
