For many years, Mickey Bauer served as a custodian for Mattapoisett's Center School. Even after his retirement, Mickey never left the school, always greeting school buses and giving kids that friendly little pat on the head with his familiar laugh. Pictured in the collage at the left is former Center School principal, Jack Murphy presenting Mickey with the street sign that will forever remind us of Mickey's omnipresence in all of our hearts.
